Norfolk, vsquires@pwcnorva.navy.mil. The Officer in Charge requires
all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation
necessary to perform inspection, maintenance and certification of
Recovery Material Bulk Containers (RMBC), including 10,000 gallon
railcars, 5,000 gallons tank trailers, 600 and 1,000 gallon metal
containers, and 600 and 1,000 gallon poly tanks at the Norfolk Naval
Shipyard. The work identified shall be accomplished by means of a
Requirements type contract. The term shall be for a period of one year.
The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract
services for an additional period of one to twelve months. The total
contract term, including exercise of any options shall not exceed 60
months. The proposed procurement listed herein is unrestricted. The
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7699. Plans and
specifications will be made available on or about 03 April 1999.
