This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-09. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure the following items: CLIN 0001: Two (2) each, Camcorder, Sony El p/n DVW-700WS- PAC2, Camcorder, package of windscreen digital betacam; c/o 1./5-in B/W viewfinder, microphone, tripod plate (p/n VCT-14), rain cover, camera case (p/n LC-700CP) and operational manual. CLIN 0002: One (1) each, Adapter, Sony El p/n CA-755, Adapter for the camcorder; triax . CLIN 0003: One (1) each, Control unit, Sony El p/n CCU-550, control unit for the studio camera, provides wide band triax for Sony cameras series DVW and DNW camcorders;menu control; front panel control; provides AC power capability; includes blank front panel, operational manual, and maintenance manual. CLIN 0004: Two (2) each, Charger, Sony El p/n AC-DN1PAC1, battery charger; AC adapter. CLIN 0005: Two (2) each, Mount, Sony El p/n QRD-700, Battery Mount; video camera/camcorder; quick release gold mount series. CLIN 0006: Two (2) each, Lens Sony El p/n A15X8BEVM, TV camera lens, ENG/EFP; 2/3 inch; 8-120mm focal length; 82mm filter size; servos for zoom, manual focus; utilizes aberration; electron beam coating for flare and ghosting reduction; V-grip adjusts from 3-17 degrees for wrist comfort; macro zoom; 15x zoom ratio w/2x extender; selectable zoom speed of 1-5 seconds from wide to telephoto; B4 lens mounts. CLIN 0007: One (1) each, Adapter, Sony El p/n RMM-301, Adapter for the rack mounting; 19-in; for use with Sony camera control unit and other Sony equipment. CLIN 0008: One (1) each, Cable Assembly, Sony El p/n CCA-5-3, cable, 3 meter length for studio camera. CLIN 0009: Two (2) each, Card, Sony El p/n BSC-1 Pack, set-up card for the Digital 1000 camcorders. CLIN 0010: One (1) each, Panel, Sony El p/n BKP-5973, control panel; integrated camera control unit (CCU) includes operational and maintenance manual. FOB .Destination point is Quantico, VA. Required delivery is thirty (30) days after receipt of order. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into a contract on a sole source basis with Sony El., under the authority of FAR 13-501 & FAR 6-003, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing.
