70 -- MODIFICATION TO PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION FOR HIGH SPEED WINDOWS NT BASED ANALOG RECORD AND PLAYBACK SYSTEM SOL N66604-99-Q-0949 DUE 012699 POC J. Clermont, Contract Negotiator at (401) 832-1460; J. Masterson, Contracting Officer at (401) 832-1585; FAX (401) 832-4820. WEB: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. E-MAIL: Jeannie Clermont, Contract Negotiator, clermontjm@npt.nuwc.navy.mil. This modification is to amend the performance specification. This was originally published on 8 December 1998 in the Commerce Business Daily. Paragraphs 1 through 4 of the Performance Specification are hereby modified. 1. General: The requirement is for a high speed Windows NT based analog recording and playback system (data recorder) with a minimum of 8 analog input channels with each channel being recorded at 16 bits and with a maximum bandwidth of up to 90 kHz (kilohertz) per channel. 2. The system shall come with programmable gain amplifiers, simultaneous sampling and programmable anti-aliasing filters, and a minimum of 18 gigabytes of storage disk. The system shall record data from the eight channels gap-free onto the storage disk for up to the time required to fill the entire disk. 3. The analog input channels shall be sampled at 16 bit resolution with conversion rates sufficient to achieve 90 kHz analog bandwidth per channel. Sampling shall be simultaneous on the input channels. The sampling rates shall be software selectable over the range of sampling frequencies. It is understood that at the lower sampling frequencies the bandwidth of the input channels will decrease in accordance with the Nyquist Sampling Theorem. To achieve the 90 kHz bandwidth on each channel, the sampling must be 180 kHz or higher. 4. The input voltage range shall be software selectable in ranges between +/- 40 volts down to +/- 1 volt with an amplifier frequency response that is flat to 90 kHz. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contracts. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room. Estimated RFP release date: 1/19/99; SIC Code: 3825. Posted 01/20/99 (W-SN289463). (0020)
