R -- FEDLINK DELIVERY ORDER MODIFICATION SOL DCIL/RC POC Charles A. Wilson, Contract Specialist The Library of Congress intends to issue a delivery order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to modify a current subscription with Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI) for the continued use of their service by the Patent & Trademark ILL Office, Scientific and Technical Iformation Center, Arlington, VA (DCIL). CISTI provides a premier of scientific, technical, medical, and agricultural information. Through its Document Delivery Services, there are several ways order documents from a comprehensive collection of 54,000 journal titles, conference proceedings, monographs, technical reports, and translations. CISTI's Link Supply and Global Supply provide documents in any subject area from anywhere in the world. CISTI can retrieve items from the British Library Document Supply Centre (BLDSC) via its Global Supply service. CISTI's electronic table of contents service, SWETSCAN, is a current awareness service that offers unlimited searching on a subscription basis of some 14,000 journals published worldwide. Clients can receive these tables of contents automatically via the SWETSCAN ALERT Service to stay abreast of the newest publications in their area of scientific or technical interest. Service will be continued through September 30, 1999. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No telephone calls will be accepted.
