The St. Louis Region Missouri Procurement Assistance Center (MO PAC),
in conjunction with the Missouri Small Business Development Centers
(SBDC), and the Orange, Texas Electronic Commerce Resource Center
(ECRC), will be conducting a seminar on The Year 2000 Bug in Cape
Girardeau, Missouri on Friday, February 19th from 8:30 to 11:30. Topics
include an evaluation of your company's level of Y2K readiness with a
self-assessment guide, and an examination of contingency plans, an
explanation of resources for Y2K assistance for small and medium sized
businesses, and a demonstration of Y2K PC testing software designed to
evaluate personal computers for Y2K hardware compliance. The fee for
the seminar is $ 15. The seminar will be held at Southeast Missouri
State University in the Riverboat Room of the University Center (at the
