THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE -- ALL INTERESTED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ARE REQUESTED TO RESPOND BY 2 FEBRUARY 1999. Services, nonpersonal, to provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment and appliances to upgrade approximately 2.7 miles of two lane asphalt roadway on Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan. The work includes, but is not limited to: removal of the existing pavement and base course, replace all utilities under or crossing the right of way, install additional empty conduits for future communication or power runs, reconstruct the base and install new pavement and stabilized shoulders, etc. and all work related thereto. All work is to be performed in strict accordance with the Plans and Specifications for Project VGLZ 962093, "Upgrade North Perimeter Road", Selfridge ANG Base, MI. The estimated cost range of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00, and the construction performance period is 90 days. This project is proposed to be a 100% small business set aside under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 1611, with a small business size standard of $17,000,000.00 in average annual receipts for the preceeding 3 years. There is no charge for Plans and Specifications, which are to be furnished via CD-ROM/Disk, but REQUESTS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE PER FIRM.
