(Contractors providing GSA Federal Supply Schedule pricing are excluded
from this restriction. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations
are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be
issued. The solicitation number N00205-99-Q-H001 applies and is issued
as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC
97-05 and DAC 91-13. The standard industrial code is 5084 and the
business size is 100 employees. This requirement is for a fixed price
contract (6 items). Items as folows: Line item 0001: auto/truck paint
spray booth, crossflow, dry filter, approximate overall dimensions 24'L
X 15'W X 10'H, 1 each, solid back, crossdraft airflow-minimum 100 FPM,
construction-18 gauge galvanized steel sheets, personnel entry door
36"W X 84"H, one set filtered, swingtype product entry doors
approximately 9'4"W X 8'6"H, high efficiency filters-andreae type,
tacky intake filters, 8 each-48" 4 tube fluorescent lights on top and
sides, rear access only to fixtures, nema 12 deluxe control panel,
minimum 3HP, 208/230/460V, 3 phase TEFC motor. Line item 0002: Pioneer
PK40 Piopack wall mounted grade "D" breathing air system, or equal.
Outlets for breathing air and paint equipment will be mounted inside
booth for easy access for 2 workers. Line item 0003: Paint
helmets/hoods (2 each), with cool air supply device such as frigitron
2000 or equal. Line item 0004: Provide and install fire
sprinkler/suppression system to the paint booth (existing building
water to be used). Line item 0005: Install grounding metal rod (middle
of paint booth). Coat the booth with a Chemco white peelable booth
coating. Line item 0006: Labor and Materialto install booth, complete
with sprinkler system, electrical connections and breathing air system.
The Government will be responsible for connections of electric,
plumbing and air piping to the booth. Paint booth and requested
equipment must meet Federal, OSHA and NFPA regulations. Delivery of all
items is required no later than 05 April 99. Items to be deliveryed FOB
destination to: 926th Fighter Wing, Airforce Warehouse, Building 31,
Naval Air Station, New Orleans, LA 70143-5400. Acceptance to be made at
destination. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, instructions of offers --
Commercial Item applies. Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions
Commercial Items, applies. Addendum to FAR 52.214-4: paragraph (o)
Warranty -- add: "Additionally, the government will accept the
contractor's commercial warranty." Add the following addendum clause:

Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies with the
following clauses applicable for paragraph (b): DFARS 252.225-7012.
Preference for certain domestic commodities, and DFARS 252.225-7001,
Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. The government
intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the
most advantageous to the government considering price and price-related
factors. This solicitation will be evaluated on the following factors:
price related, technical and past performance are equal in importance.
Quotations must be received no later than 3:00pm, local time, 02 Feb
