Our intentions are to ascertain if there are any commercial vendors who would have an interest in fabricating the below mentioned antenna offset kit. The Antenna Offset Kit is made up of the following components: Antenna Subassembly, NSN 5985-01-244-4265; Antenna Cover, NSN 5985-01-244-9836; Antenna Support, NSN 5895-01-312-3028; Metal Plate, NSN 9535-01-302-0068. The Antenna Offset Kit is a bracket to offset most types of antennae on Army vehicles, primarily the HMMWVs, CUCVs, and transports in order to bend the antennae over the vehicles without contacting the vehicle or canvas cover. The components of the Antenna Offset Kit are basically constructed of aluminum plates specified by the drawings which are welded together and then assembled (bolts, nuts, and screws) to form the complete Antenna ! Offset Kit. The Antenna Offset Kit is not comprised of any electri cal components that would require extensive electrical testing.
