The Bureau of the Census (BOC) is seeking a contractor who will create an Internet based application to allow small and mid-sized exporters and freight forwarders to file Shippers Export Documents (SEDS) through the Automated Export System (AES). The BOC/Foreign Trade Division believes there are significant advantages and cost savings involved in using an internet application to file SEDS. The contractor shall procure and provide public access to a web-based application that implements the Automated Export System. The anticipated period of performance is a one year base period, plus four one year options. The SIC code for this requirement is 7374.
