J -- DEPOT MAINTENANCE PLANT EQUIPMENT, BFVS LAUNCHER TEST STATION SOL DAAH01-99-R-0067 DUE 030799 POC AMSAM-AC-ML-AC, John Mellgren, Contracting Officer, 256-842-6517 AMCOM has a requirement to procure for the upgrade of the BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE SYSTEM (BFVS), Launcher Test Station, Part Number 3765284, currently at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD). The Launcher Test Station shall be upgraded to the most current configuration. The contractor shall reassemble, maintain, and perform acceptance test to deliver upgraded Launcher Test Station. Upon completion of upgrade, serviceable items shall meet the requirements of the technical data package, applicable drawings, all approved engineering change proposals (ECPs), and quality assurance provisions. Offerors must be approved and qualified. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with firm(s) listed. The Government does not possess adequate documentation to acquire from other than the approved source. The contractor for this effort is Raytheon Technical Services Company, 6125 E. 21 Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219-2189.
