Albornoz, Contract Specialist, 512-961-3750 FAX 512-937-1126 This request is for sources sought for the sole purpose of identifying potential sources for the operation and support of base operation functions at the Corpus Christi Army Depot. The intent of the cost comparison is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing base operations support in the following areas: (1) Command Support Group; (2) Resource Management Group; (3) Information Technology Group and (4)Facilities Management Group. The Command Support Group's representative services include: management support and coordination with other staff offices and external agencies; administrative/secretarial support; paralegal; training and adminstration of various Command programs; and assisting with public affairs functions. The Resource Management Group's representative services include: resource management and supervision, and resource support liaison services; providing responses to various data calls and inquiries, responding to resource management issues; budget development and execution; financial inventory and managerial accounting; counseling and referral services; military taining support services; payroll services; and administering the Travel card program. The Information Technology Group's representative services include: network services, maintaining the host operating systems, software management, hardware management, maintaining the voice communications system and providing customer service; performing visual information productions and photography services; creating, maintaining and disposing of records; performing life cycle management, planning and briefing support. The Facilities Management Group's representative services include: management and coordiantion of projects; providing electrician, pipe-fitter/plumbing, air conditioning, painter and carpenter services; management of environmental, safety, occupational health, and radiological safety programs, hurricane preparedness; and processing of hazardous waste and materials, and coordinating efforts with the Defense Reutilization and Markieting Office. Government employees are currently performing these services. A cost comparison under OMB Circular A76 will be conducted to determine the most cost-effective mode of operation. A single solicitation consisting of functions above will be issued as a multi function solicitation. A contract will not be awarded if government performance is determined to be more advantageous. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, nor will the government pay for the information solicited. The Solicitation is not available at this time.
