The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD) has a requirement for Real Estate Property Sales Closing Services for single family properties (1-4 units) owned by HUD. The geographic area covered by this solicitation is Jacksonville, FL area. The primary objective of the proposed contract are to ensure that: 1. The sale of all properties assigned to the contract close within the time stipulated by the sales contract; 2. Prompt and accurate payment of all closing charges is made; 3. The net proceeds of each sale are deposited into a non-interest bearing escrow account and requests is initiated for the wire transfer of the proceeds via FEDWIRE to HUD's account with the U.S. Treasury on the day of closing or no later than the next banking day; 4. The complete closing package is submitted to HUD within two (2) working days of closing. The counties included in the Jacksonville, FL area are: Duval, Clay, Putnam, St. John, Flagler, Nassau, and Baker counties. HUD anticipates awarding one contract. This contract will be for one base year with four (4) option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. HUD anticipates mailing the solicitation to potential offerors on February 8, 1999. The date of receipt of proposals is March 16, 1999 at 2:00 PM (EST).
