Lawrence, 15 Beach Street, Cohasset, MA 02025-1421. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this purchase order is to secure the services of a dental expert for the Health Resources and Services Administration's Regional Field Office area represented by the Boston Field Office contained in the Northeast Field Cluster to support and expand the oral health infrastructure in States and Communities. The contractor shall perform inventory of all HRSA-funded oral health programs in the area served by Region 1, identify service gaps and propose & implement resolutions, assist with DDS Scholar/loan repayment placements in Region 1, institute new Dental Sealant Program, develop and describe the Region 1 Dental Services Network, convene a regioanl HRSA/HCFA Workshop for six New England States, supervise the oral health needs assessments for the States of Rhode Island and New Hampshire, facilitate CISS proposal development in NH and RI, facilitate hiring of DDS as consultant to State oral health programs in NH and RI, facilitate hiring of DDS as consultant to State oral health programs in NH and RI, develop format for Field Office-specific dental work plans, develop format for Field Office-specific and Central Office composite of dental programs, activities, and initiatives and provide technical assistance to Central Office in the convening of a national summit on the HRSA Oral Health Initiative and the role of the NHSC. The period of performance for this project is 5 months. Dr. Lawrence is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services.
