services necessary to update and present a course of instruction
entitled "Crane Safety." This will be a firm-fixed price type contract
with two options years. Sessions scheduled for FY99 are as follows:
99-01, 13-16 Apr 99; 99-02, 19-22 Apr 99; 99-03, 11-14 May 99. All FY99
course session will be held in Hunsville, AL. The following course
locations and dates for options years FY00 and FY01 are estimates and
subject to change: 2000-01, 19-22 October 99, Huntsville, AL; 2000-02,
07-10 Mar 00, Huntsville, AL; 2000-03, 13-16 Mar 00, Huntsville, AL;
2000-04, 11-14 Apr 00, Huntsville, AL; 2001-01, 17-20 October 00,
Huntsville, AL; 2001-02, 06-09 Mar 01, Huntsville, AL; 2002-03, 12-15
Mar 01, Huntsville, AL; 2002-04, 17-20 Apr 01, Huntsville, AL. Sessions
consist of 32 hours of classroom instruction. Offeror shall provide a
minimum of two instructors at each session. Each instructor shall have
at least ten years experience in the design, construction, operation,
and maintenanceof hydraulic and/or lattice boom cranes. Each
instructor shall have teaching experience of at least 120 hours per
year for the past three years in the design, construction, operation,
and maintenance of hydraulic and/or lattice boom cranes. The contractor
staff hall have three years experience in developing instructional
materials for the design, construction, operation, maintenance, or
operating safety of hydraulic and/or lattice boom cranes. Technical
evaluation criteria will be set forth in the solicitation scheduled to
be issued on or about 29 Jan 99. Copies of the solicitation shall be
obtained by written request without cost. One set of the course
material may be obtained from this office at a cost of $35.00
(non-refundable). Payment will be made by certified check, cashier's
check, or money order payable to: Finance and Accounting Officer,
USAESCH. Telephonic requests will not be honored. This is a 100%
set-aside for small business procurement. The Standard Industrial Code
is 8299. For the purpose ofthis solicitation, any concern whose gross
annual receipts over the past three years does not exceed $5,000,000
