Solicitation F38610-99-R0010. Project No. DKFX 99-4050. Estimated cost is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Performance time will be announced in the solicitation. The renovations include the replacement of all interior finishes, exterior wood siding and trim, insulation, flat roofs, roof shingles, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exterior drainage, minor driveway cracking repair, and below slab utilities. Landscaping will consist of reinstalling or replacing any shrubs or trees damaged or removed due to the construction and providing grass seed in all disturbed areas. Interior renovations include replacing flooring, walls, and ceilings. Existing wall and ceiling gypsum board will be removed and replaced. Cabinetry in kitchens and baths will be removed and replaced. All kitchen and bath fixtures and accessories will be removed and replaced. All interior doors will be removed and replaced with new doors. Exterior renovations include pressure washing of all existing exterior finishes to remain, roof shingle replacement, new windows, and replacement of exterior wood siding, fascia and soffits with vinyl siding, fascia, and soffits. All existing flat roofs will be replaced with sloping includes the complete removal of all existing HVAC Systems and components and the installation of a new heat pump, air handler, galvanized ductwork, bathroom exhaust fans, supply registers, return grilles, and thermostats. The plumbing work includes replacement of DWV piping, water supply piping, water heaters, and fixtures. The electrical work includes providing a new service entrance and power, lighting, telephone, data and cable TV. The environmental work includes asbestos and lead based paint abatement. This contract will be awarded utilizing full and open competition. Small and small disadvantage business concerns are encouraged to request a solicitation.
