H -- QUALITY CONTROL TESTING IN BLDG 4600 SOL W813LT 9005-6003 DUE 021299 POC Bonita Zander, Purchasing Agent 410-278-6515 The contractor shall perform Quality Control Testing in Bldg 4600 Coating Laboratory on paint samples submitted for testing under the Qualified Products List Program. Both wet and dry samples of paint will be evaluated under appropriate specification and ASTM requirements. All data will be recorded and maintained. Period of Performance will be 01 April thru 31 December 1999. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to Pauline Smith, Havre de Grace, MD pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for quality control testing for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
