J -- PERFORM ADVANCE PLANNING AND ACCOMPLISH PRODUCTION EFFORTS FOR THE REGULAR OVERHAUL OF USS GETTYSBURG (CG-64) AND USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG-58) IN THE EAST & GULF COAST AREA SOL N00024-99-R-8502 DUE 040699 POC PAMELA GRANT, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, SEA 0285G, (703)602-7714 ext 294 AND ROCHELLE ALLEN, PROCURING CONTRACTING OFFICER, SEA 0285A, (703)602-7714 ext 291 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation number N00024-99-R-8502 for the accomplishment of advance planning and production efforts for the Regular Overhaul (ROH) of USS GETTYSBURG (CG-64) and USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG-58). This effort will be restricted to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) holders. Two awards will result from this solicitation. One contract will include Lot I: USS GETTYSBURG (CG-64). A second contract will include Lot II: USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG-58). Offerors may submit proposals for either or both Lot I and Lot II or Lot I with the supplement to Lot II. The contract award winners will not be offered the use of Navy dry-docks. Contractors will be responsible for providing other facilities (i.e. pier, utilities, etc.). Place of performance is restricted to the East and Gulf Coast.
