Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) seeks sources to provide ancillary health care worker services at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, its Branch clinics, and other DoD medical facilities located in Florida and Georgia. The total quantity and the specific identity of all clinics to be encompassed will be provided in the RFP. The Government intends to award multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity personal service contracts for these health care worker services. The solicitation (RFP) for this procurement is tentatively scheduled for release on or about 1 March 1999. Health Care Worker services to be included in this acquisition include: Definitized positions: Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Phlebotomists, and Medical Assistants. Undefinitized positions: Physicians (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Optometry, Radiology, Pediatrics), Nurse practitioners/ Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist,Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology/Athletic Trainer, Dietician, Psychologist, Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Ancillary (Optometry, Dietetic, Occupational, Physical, other technicians and assistants), Wellness/health Benefits Advisor, Radiology Support (Ultrasound, Radiologic, MRI, CAT, and Mammography Technicians, etc.). The Government's minimum quantity for each contract awarded will be ordered via issuance of initial Task Orders awarded concurrently with award of the basic contracts. Subsequent requests for Task Order proposals will only be requested from successful contract awardees.
