J -- MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL, SYSTEM CONFIGURATION AND SOFTWARE TO KEEP SYSTEMS FUNCTIONING IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS This is a modification to an existing contract for additional services as defined below. Period of performance is for six months (1 Apr -- 30 Sep 99). The service consists of maintaining uninterruped service on the Base's Land Mobile Radio Central Base Trunking System, Tactical Aircrew Alerting Network, Central Base Paging System and Conventional LMR Networks. In addition to responsibilities outlined in subject area above, the contractor will be responsible for maintaining, installing, removing, and programming fixed base stations, with and without remote control units; mobile radios and portable two-way radios; voice, digital and alpha pagers; cellular telephone instruments and vehicle adapters. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and any other items or services necessary (including but not limited to high-reach vehicles, antenna climbing equipment, replacement parts, and bench stock) to perform troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance inspections, intrinsically safe certification inspections, installations and removals of government-owned communications electronics equipment.
