W -- MOBILE HOME RENTAL FOR GABRESKI AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY SOL DTCGG1-99-Q-3ED045 DUE 021099 POC Ms. Jodi Ruggiero, Contract Specialist, (401) 736-1785 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is DTCGG1-99-Q-3ED045 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification code is 7519 and the small business size standard is $5 million. The contract line item is: Line Item 1: Seven (7) month rental for not more than four mobile homes, with a total of at least 2600 SF, 12 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms in accordance with the scope of work, Qty. 7 months at $ __________ per month for a total of $ __________. Line Item 2: Delivery/Remove Charge,Qty. 1 lump sum $_________. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Description of the requirement is as follows: Provide not more than four (4) mobile homes, each uniform in color, with a total of at least 2600SF, 12 bedrooms, and four (4) full bathrooms. Each trailer must have at least two, but not more than six bedrooms, and a least one full bathroom. Built in fixtures for each unit shall include full kitchen cabinets and countertops, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, tub, toilet, and washer and dryer hookups. Appliances shall be capable of running on single phase, 208-volt power and shall include an electric range, electric refrigerator, electric heat, dishwasher and central air conditioning or a window air conditioning unit in each room except the bathroom. All windows shall have dressings appropriate for the room (i.e.: bedrooms shall have light blocking blinds). No furniture shall be provided. Rental period shall be for a period of seven months, from 01 April 1999 through 31 October 1999. The resulting Contractor shall deliver the mobile home to Gabreski Air National Guard Base in Westhampton Beach, New York. The Contractor shall level and anchor the mobile home. All mobile homes will be located on grass with the predominant underlying soil being sand. Steps for full normal access to both the front and rear entrances shall be provided, installed, and anchored in place. Trailers shall be ready for occupancy no later than 01 April 1999. All trailers shall be removed from the Air National Guard Base by 15 November 1999. The Contractor shall make water, sewer and electric connections to the mobile homes. Sewer, water and electrical connections for four mobile homes are available on site and shall be modified as necessary. An external 100 amp disconnect shall be installed on all trailers and trailers shall be wired for cable TV and telephone connections. The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference with the following addenda: Quoters are required to submit details of the trailers to be offered (i.e.: number of bedrooms in each trailer) and a copy of the floor plan for all trailers offered with their quotes. Floor plans are required to show where external sewer, water and electrical connections are to be made. Also include the availability to make delivery of the trailers by the time specified in the solicitation. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. This is a best value procurement. Price and trailer details/floor plans will be evaluated equally. Quoters shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with their quote.
