VIDEO SCREEN, anthony.weedin@nellis.af.mil. The following changes were
made to solicitation number F26600-99-Q0254 dated Jan 15, 1999:
Non-personal service to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials,
facilities, transportation and necessary equipment to furnish, setup
and operate a large portable video screen for two separate outdoor
aerial bombing demonstrations to be held at Indian Springs Auxiliary
Field Air Field Point Bravo, Nevada (27 miles north of Las Vegas).
Minimum video screen size is a Sony Jumbo Tron Screen 20ft x 24ft or
equal {1} Change: Delete or equal. There will be two different periods
of performance. The first period of performance will be from 17 Feb 99
to 19 Feb 99. The second period of performance will be from 28 Apr 99
to 30 Apr 99. The video screen must be operational by 8:00am PST on 18
Feb 99 and 8:00am PST on 29 Apr 99. Primary power generation to be
supplied by the contractor. Utilities for backup power generation will
be provided by the government. All commercial video signals and
editing will be provided by thegovernment. The video screen shall be
delivered to Indian Springs Auxiliary Field Air Field Point Bravo
approx. 27 miles north of Las Vegas NV for both dates. Quotes submitted
should include all costs necessary to provide technician(s) required to
deliver, set up and disassemble a large video screen that will satisfy
the government needs on dates requested. Quotations should be a firm
fixed price for each aerial bombing event. {2} Change description From:
Award will be made to the most responsible and responsive offer that
provides the best value to the government. Evaluation factors for the
best value are screen size, price and past performance. To: Award will
be made to the responsive, responsible offeror that provides the best
overall value to the Government. Evaluation factors are screen size,
price and past performance. More weight will be given to screen size
offers larger than the 20ft x 24ft. Offerors must include descriptive
literature with their offers. Offerors failing to provide descriptive
literature with their offers will be considered non responsive.
Descriptive literature submitted must list the basic screen
specifications so that screen size can be verified and a comparison
made between models offered to determine best value. Offerors must FAX
or e-mail their offers and descriptive literature by 12:00pm PST 26
Jan 99. Offerors may include date award must be made in order to
reserve the video screens for performance periods. Past performance
