and synopsis under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is the intent
of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to solicit and award a purchase
order, for the Defense Contract Management Command (DCMC) "Commander's
Conference", to be conducted on May 3-7, 1999 at the Washington Dulles
Airport Hilton. The conference will be held in conjunction with
three(3) other conferences. DCMC will utilize meeting space and
audiovisual equipment. MEETING ROOM REQUIREMENTS: Large Ballroom (need
10,000 square feet) to accommodate 230 people with a large horseshoe
in the middle (thirty (30) people), with chevron setup on sides with
tables to accommodate 200 people. A registration area is required with
two(2) tables and four (4) chairs; An administration room; one
boardroom and four(4) breakout rooms to accomodate 40-45 EACH DAY in a
classroom set-up. AUDIOVISUAL REQUIREMENTS: Overhead projectors, three
large screens, sound systems, mixers, TV/VCR, microphones, etc. A
minimum of 150 guest rooms will be needed for each night, with a
tentative arrival date of May 3, 1999, and departure date of May 7,
1999. START and END TIMES: 0800 -- 1600 each day. Hotel is required to
prepare for a Social on Monday, May 3, 1999 to begin at 1900 hours.
