FIORENTINO (508) 233-6666 Fax# (508) 233-6691 This modification is being issued to establish the IFB package issue date and the Bid Opening date for the following IFB which was originally published in the January 12, 1999 issue of the Commerce Business Daily. Bid packages will be issued on or about January 29, 1999. The Bid opening date is March 2, 1999 at 1:00 pm. Clean, prepare and paint one bulk fuel storage tank. Painting and prepartion to include stair systems, grates, pipes and some repair welding is anticipated. Currently, the tank is coated with a lead base paint which must be removed and disposed of. The tank with stairs and appurtenances shall be coated with a three coat paint system. Tank size is 48 feet tall by 60 feet in diameter. Additive bid item (1) consists of cleaning, preparing and painting a second bulk fuel storage tank. The same criteria as listed above shall apply to the ABI. The second tank is 48 feet tall by 48 feet in diameter. Performance time is 60 days after the Notice To Proceed. Performance time for the ABI is 45 days. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. This procurement is open to all small businesses, small disadvantage businesses and small women owned and minority owned businesses. The estimated magnitude of construction for the base bid is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The magnitude of construction for the ABI is also $25,000.00 to $100,000.00.
