District Court space at the Federal Building & US Courthouse, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.Project will include Phase I and II. Construction will include third floor relocation of U. S. Clerk of the Courts Office Facilities, Bankruptcy Court/Appeal, Petit Jury Rooms and Probation Office Facilities as described in the specifications and drawings. The Grand Jury Room and the Jury Assembly Room which are part of Phase III will not be included in this solicitation. Estimated cost range of the project is between $250,000 to $500,000. Contractor shall complete work within 180 calendar days after Receipt of Notice to Proceed. Requests for solicitation package will be accepted in writing only. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. IFB will be issued to prime contractors only, and will be distributed until supply is exhausted. SIC Code 1542 applies. Anticipated bid issue date is 3/10/99. Solicitation package will be available for viewing by subcontractors after issue date.
