Architect Engineer Services shall design and provide complete construction documents of upgrading Electrical Distribution Systems located throughout the facility. This project will replace half of the existing 5kv main switch located in Bldg. 26. Upgrade electrical system in Bldg. 4 from 240V system to a 208V system, replace existing 250 KVA transformer if necessary to power entire building from one source, convert lighting from120V to 277V energy efficient fixtures and provide emergency power to critical areas of the building. Eliminate an old distribution system in Bldg. 1. Upgrade existing emergency power system in Bldg. 1-South. Upgrade electrical feeders and panels in Bldgs. 2 & 12. Address deficiencies in transformers, breakers, relays, etc. found during a recent electrical testing contract. Connect existing generator previously feeding Bldg. 5 to Bldgs. 6, 7 & 8. Upgrade the Boiler Plant from a 240V system to a 480V one and provide additional power to Bldg. 34. This project wil also include verifying one-line electrical diagrams and installing them on AutoCAD (R14) as well as verification/editing of panel legends of the entire facility. Sample analysis shall be performed to determine the possibility of asbestos containing materials and/or lead-based paint as it relates to the demolition and construction of this project to include design and monitoring during construction.
