The work covered by this Statement Of Work consist of funishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, supervision, quality control, and administration to provide interior and exterior protective coatings for various base facilities in accordance with terms of this contract. In general, the principal features of the work are outlined but not limited to this section. Buildings could be occupied during painting operations. The contractor shall also paint non-structural surfaces in accordance with these specifications and applicable manufacturer printed specifications. A list of required work includes but is not limited to painting of partial and complete extetriors and trim, sandblasting, water blasting, repainting of fire systems, striping of parking lots, cross walks, roadways, painting street arrows, painting of airfield, runway, and taxi ways, etc. In addition, the work includes partial and complete interiors and trim, taping -- bedding texturing walls and ceilings as required, repair painting and shop support, and installing government furnished vinyl wall coverings, etc. Work will be identified by contract monitor and issued as a Shop Support (SS) work order. SS work will be completed within seven work days. All work will be performed on Ellsworth AFB, SD. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $500,000 per year. The performance period will begin 1 Oct 99 or date of award and continue for 365 days after with 4 option year periods. This action is open competition to both large and small business. This project is expected to be issued 10 Mar 99. Evaluation of this solictation will be based on past performance being more important than price. Award will be based on best value to the Government.
