Provide all labor, material, and equipment required to construct a new firing range bullet trap at existing Facility 1641. Generally the work is as follows: Construct a 14-lane (6' lane width) self-supporting bullet trap with integral cover. Existing range to be modified to accommodate pistol and rifle use for 7M, 15M and 25M target lines. Selective demolition of existing baffles and site features is required to accommodate bullet trap. Bullet trap to be supported by 6" reinforced concrete pad. Access to new trap to be provided by 5' wide concrete sidewalk. Wood bullet catch at top rear beam to be removed and replaced. Site lighting to be replaced. Period of performance is 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 5 Feb 99 and offer due date of 8 Mar 99 are tentative. The applicable SIC code and size standard for this acquisition are 1629/$17M. The estimated range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
