A first article sample of 5 of each item is required 10 days after contract award, with the first article sample produced at the same facility as the production quantity. This is a synopsis for request for proposal for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB origin with shipments to multiple destinations. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards will be made if necessary to procure the total quantity. Delivery shall be made by March 26, 1999. This solicitation has provisions for the base year procurement and 2 option years. The copy ofthe solicitation, 35-M-APHIS-99, is to be released on or about February 3, 1999.
