87 -- JACKSON TRAP BODIES, HANGERS, INSERS AND LURE CLIPS SOL 34-M-APHIS-99 DUE 022699 POC Kathryn Linde 612-370-2494 The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX intends to acquire 352,750 Jackson trap bodies, 26,350 Jackson hangers, (wire), 411,050 Jackson inserts w/stickem, 62,700 Jackson lure clips and 2 option years with similar quantities. A first article sample of 5 of each item is required 10 days after contract award, with the first article sample produced at the same facility as the production quantity. A sample of 6 paperboard units is also required within 10 days of contract award. This is a synopsis for request for proposal for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB origin. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards will be made if necessary to procure the total quantity. Delivery shall be made by March 26, 1999. This solicitation has provisions for the base year procurement and 2 option years. Thecopy of the solicitation, 34-M-APHIS-99, is to be released on or about February 3, 1999.
