A first article sample of 100 units is required 10 days after contract award, with the first article sample produced at the same facility as the production quantity. This is a synopsis for request for proposal for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB origin. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards will be made if necessary to procure the total quantity. Delivery is desired by made by March 31, 1999 or sooner. The copy of the solicitation, 32-M-APHIS-99, is to be released on or about February 3, 1999.
