87 -- DISPARLURE TRAPS, EXTENDED LIFE, STRING TYPE SOL 28-M-APHIS-99 DUE 021999 POC Kathryn Linde 612-370-2494 The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX intends to acquire 22,707 packs of 25 each of + disparlure traps, extended life, string type. A first article sample of 100 units is required 10 days after contract award, with the first article sample produced at the same facility as the production quantity. This is a synopsis for request for proposal for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB origin with shipment to multiple locations. Inspection and acceptance will take place at source. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards will be made if necessary to procure the total quantity. Proposals will be accepted for any or all of the requirements. Delivery of one-half the quantity is required by March 24, 1999 with the balance due by April 15,1999. The copy of the solicitation, 28-M-APHIS-99, is to be released on or about February 3, 1999.
