Geological Survey (AUSGS) has a requirement for research study on
impacts of diking on fish community structure in Metzger Marsh.
Pre-construction sampling was conducted by the contractor using
specific gear, methodology, and sampling locations. To ensure
scientific credibility of pre- and post-construction comparisons, these
same protocols must be followed in post-construction sampling. THE USGS
ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY
RESEARCH FOUNDATION PROJECT ADMINISTRATION, The contractor is the only
source with knowledge of the protocol. THESE MUST BE IDENTICAL
specific sampling protocols, including sampling site location could not
be reproduced. No substitutions. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL
PURPOSES ONLY, no formal RFQ will be available. Vendors who feel they
have the knowledge of the protocol are invited to provide an
affirmative response to this notice. An affirmative response must
include, but not be limited to offered products, price lists,
warranties, and any additional information indicating a bona fide
ability to meet this requirement. All responses must be received in
this office within 10 calendar days for the date this publication first
appears. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will
