D -- DEINSTALLION OF ADP/COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT SOL DCA200-99-Q-5027 DUE 020599 POC Art Kruse 618-229-9735 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to acquire contractor support to deinstall ADP/Communication Equipment located at DMC Montgomery, AL and prepare it for turn-in to the Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO). The equipment will be handled in compliance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications and standards. A listing of the ADP/Communication Equipment will be included with the solicitation. The contractor support is to be initiated within one (1) week of contract award and be completed within three (3) weeks of contract award. A Site Survey is recommended and is the responsibility of the contractor to arrange and will be at the contractor's expense. Site Survey can be coordinated with Mr. Malcolm Branch of DMC Montgomery, telephone (334)416-4727. This will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notification to the contracting office within 5 days of this announcement. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. All responses from responsible sources to the pricing request will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. The contract will be firm, fixed price.
