Request for Proposal(RFP) for the OUTREACH/ADMISSIONS and PLACEMENT of youth for the Job Corps Program in the State of Indiana. Job Corps is a program which provides education, vocational, avocational and support services to youth 16 through 24 years old in residential and non-residential settings. RFP 5-JC-973-18 is for the recruitment and assignment of 985 youth; 460 males and 525 females from the State of Indiana into the Job Corps program annually. Placement services shall be provided to a minimum of 80% of all arrivals(1,085) in the State of Indiana(estimated to be 868 students) which are then placed into employment, school or military. In addition, any offeror should also plan for the possibility that recruitment needs may be expanded to include the States of Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000, plus four governmental unilateral renewal options for one year each.
