This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation number is F04700-99-T-0254. This is request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is 100% Small Business set aside. Standard industrial classification code: 7699. Small Business Size Standard: $5 Million. This acquisition is for nonpersonal services. Contractor is to provide the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and other services necessary for maintenance of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Facility, located at 20 North Muroc Drive, Bldg. 2340 at Edwards AFB CA. Services are to provide inspection, testing, repair and component replacement as required to maintain the CNG Facility to include the Lectrodryers, all electrical panels associated with CNG Station, the storage tanks, the dispensers and all other equipment associated with the CNG Facility in accordance with the manufacturer's original specifications and applicable operation/owner manuals. Contractor shall provide a valid inspection license and be certified to maintain a Compressed Natural Gas Facility. Contractor shall have all applicable permits and insurance. Acceptance time will be 60 days from bid opening date. A site visit will be conducted 5 February, 10:00 AM, building 1609, 30 North Wolfe Avenue, Edwards AFB, CA. It is required that you attend the site visit. Attending contractors must notify the contracting POC if they plan to attend the site visit.
