Y -- AUXILIARY SPILLWAY, PHASE I, TENKILLER FERRY LAKE, OKLAHOMA SOL DACW56-99-B-0022 DUE 032399 POC Diane Cianci, Contract Specialist, 918/669-7270 The base bid work consists of constructing a concrete ogee spillway with five tainter gates and a new bridge for Oklahoma State Highway 100 over the spillway. The concrete spillway chute slab and walls are to be bid as an option. The spillway has a width of 290 feet including four 10-foot wide intermediate piers and a non-overflow section at each end approximately 32 feet in length with a 10-foot end pier for a total width of approximately 374 feet. Each tainter gate is 50-foot wide by 35-foot tall. The ogee weir has a maximum height of 23.7 feet. The bridge is a concrete slab over prestressed concrete girders and is approximately 300 feet in length and has an out-to-out dimension of 34 feet 5 inches with a clear roadway width of 32 feet 3 inches. Work includes constructing a project office and laboratory building; clearing and grubbing; rock excavation; rock fill for future road relocation; tainter gate hoist equipment; mechanical and electrical work. Estimated cost range of this project is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 16 February 1999, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) free of charge. The number of CD-ROMs will be limited to one (1) per firm. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
