The Indian Health Service, Engineering Services -- Seattle, is planning to issue a solicitation to install a fire sprinkler system in the 2,735 square meter Fort Yates IHS Hospital, Fort Yates, North Dakota. The work consists of design and installation of a new wet and dry pipe sprinkler system and coordination with the existing fire protection system. The fire sprinkler work shall be performed by an experienced fire sprinkler firm with a minimum qualification of a National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level III certification. The plans and specifications shall use International System of Units (SI) metric equivalent measurements. Project duration is estimated at 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid documents will be available at no charge on or about February 17, 1999. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
