Description of Project: The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to Replace Valves & Hydrants, Base Housing at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. Work elements to include but not limited to such work as Removal and Replacement of Existing Hydrants and Main Line Gate Valves with related items, and Surface Restoration to include Sod, Sidewalks, Curbs and Gutters, and Asphalt. Anticipated awarded contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract consisting of performance period for Basic Year of 365 calendar days from Date of Award with two possible one year options to run from end of the previous performance period. Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 25 February 1999. Proposal closing will be on or about 26 March 1999. The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program.
