Item 0001, Quantity: 2,Unit of Issue: Each, Tank, Fuel Storage, used to store aircraft fuel, Size: 25,000 gallon(minimum), Fuel to be stored: JP-8, Size of containment area: 76 feet in length x 73 feet in width (divided by a 12" wall), Requirements:1 Each(per tank) 4" male camlock fitting with dust covers, fitting to be centered on tank 6" from bottom of tank on one end, 1 Each 4" female cam lock fitting with dust plugs, fitting to be centered on tank 6" from bottom of tank(opposite end of tank then the male fitting), tank will be mounted on skids to leave tank 24" off the ground, interior walls of the tank shall be non-ferrous material and epoxy coated, tank is to be sloped bellied or have a center sump to drain water, tank is to have a 1" pipe from the bottom center of the tank running from there to the front of the tank(the end with the male fitting)with a gate valve for water draining, the tank will be capable of reading the fuel level from the ground outside the tank(external gauge mounted on the front of the tank(2.5"Diameter Minimum)) as well as a means of manual gauging(gauging hatch on the top of the tank)with a gauging chart,a manhole cover to allow access to the inside for cleaning purposes,steps to the top of the tank with a catwalk system and safety railing, the tank will have a maximum exterior size capable of fitting in the containment area allowing a minimum of 2.5 feet of clearence on the sides and 4 feet of clearence at either end,the tank will be capable of being lifted with a overhead crane, the tank, catwalk,railing, piping,etc is to be delivered painted a flat white.
