The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida, intends to issue a contract on a sole-source basis to GEM Systems, 52 West Beaver Creek Road, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada L4B1L9 for the purchase of a GSMP-20S3 Potassium three sensor Supergradiometer. This supergradiometer will have selected and matched large diameter sensors. Basis for sole-source award is evaluation of the performance of this commercially available (units already in use in the commercial sector) non-cryogenic gradiometer against CSS owned cryogenic gradiometers in a variety of applications.
