shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials,and
management necessary to operate the Sewage Treatment Plant and Sewage
Pump Lift stations at the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland to
meet the requirements of the NPDES/MDE permit. The sewage treatment
plant is a trickling filter tertiary plant and has an average daily
design capacity of 1 MGD. The average daily flow for the period of
January 1997 through December 1997 was 342,472 GPD. Work requirements
include, but are not limited to, daily operation of the plant,
inspecting equipment condition, performing operator maintenance, sludge
removal and maintenance of sludge beds; performing and recording all
laboratory/testing and process control testing required by the
NPDES/MDE permit, and preparing/maintaining all reports and logs. Plans
and specifiations will be available approximately 11 February 1999. The
