The work consists of Construction of one Water Treatment Facility which will provide portable water to the towns of Harrisville, Pennsboro, Ellenboro, and Cairo in Ritchie County, WV. The water treatment facility will include two 1,750 GPM raw water pumping stations expandable to 3,500 GPM, a dual train floccuation/sedimentation process providing 79 minutes of detention with provisions to add a third train to increase the plant's capacity to 3,500 GPM, two multi-media gravity filters,each rated at 1,750 GPM providing 12 minutes of detention, a 248,500 gallon serpentine baffled clearwell providing 142 minutes of detention, and a 146,250 gallon backwash holding/recycle tank. Estimated price range is 1 to 5 million.
