This project will be an On-Call Requirements Contract to maintain and repair airfield pavement. Work areas will be identified and repair work will be done by Delivery Orders. This project shall include but shall not be limited to the following: provide closed markers complete for runways, taxiways, apron and other airfield pavement; provide demolition and disposal of defective/shattered Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement complete; provide demolition of asphalt concrete (AC) pavement complete; excavate and dispose of existing bases and subbase, subgrade, defective bases as required and as directed by the Contracting Officer excavate and dispose of existing cement treated base, lime treated base, and similar; excavate, remove and dispose of contaminated asphalt concrete, Portland cement concrete, base materials, subbase materials and subgrade materials per environmental regulations; prepare and compact existing bases, subbases and subgrades to remain; replace unsatisfactory, subbase, subgrade with satisfactory materials; provide grading/regrading and swales as required; provide new 8 inch drainage gravel layer and cement treated base; provide full depth and partial depth repair for PCC slabs; apply prime coat and tack coat on each underlying surface to receive hot bituminous mixture; provide hot bituminous mixture to the finished grade with new hot plant mix asphalt concrete to depth of 2 inches on shoulder area, 4-6 inches on runways, taxiways, equipment pads and other areas as directed; provide seal coat complete; remove rubber buildup from runways complete; provide runway centerline, touch down zone and threshold, lighting system and taxiways edge lighting system including wires, light fixtures, cans, transformers and other required components complete; provide replacement of boken water lines and new gate valve with concrete box complete; provide manholes complete; dispose of all construction material off Travis AFB property in an approved landfill; provide traffic barriers, closed pavement markingsfor airfield pavement, including taxiways and ramp areas; provide hydoseeding complete; provide fire hydrant, water line, valves and similar complete; provide airfield light fixtures and associated components. The project is not limited to the above. 1 Job. Issue date O/A 25 Feb 99. Estimated cost range between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Performance Period is one basic year with two option years.
