Z-NOTICE OF INTENT TO MODIFY MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING MAINTENANCE CONTRACT The government intends to negotiate and issue a sole source modification to Contract F10603-95-D2001 with Satellite Services Inc, 309 South Front Street, Marquette MI 49855-4613, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform military family housing maintenance at Mountain Home AFB ID. The purpose of this contract extension is to provide military family housing maintenance services until the scheduled housing privatization agreement takes effect. The modification will extend the contract for the period 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 00, at which time the privatization agreement will be in effect. The current contractor is the only source available to provide the required services for a one-year period, due to the extensive equipment, parts, materials, environmental licenses, and related requirements, and the short time frame for which the services are required.
