The work to be done consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and a cellular telephone for the Site Superintendent, for rail- road repair at Anniston Army Depot except that designated as Government furnished materials. The contractor is to perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules, and drawings. The govern- ment furnished property will consist of, but is not limited to the follow- ing: 90# rail, joint bars and tie plates, appx 976 TF. The contractor shall be responsible for loading and hauling the material, from removal or storage site located in the Ammunition Limited Area, to the appropriate site and installing tract, install new 115# rail, 2376 TF, new Pre-Cast Concrete Crossing, 677 TF, install new ties, 1824 each, field welds, 17 each and surface, line and dress 9500 TF in accordance with Technical Pro- vision of this contract. The work shall consist of repairs to railroads including, but not limited to the following: Removing deteriorated cross- ties and turnout ties, and replacing with contractor furnished new cross- ties and turnout ties, furnish/install rail-head bond wires as required, clean, lubricate and adjust all switches where they are relocated, surfaced or have new sets of switch ties installed. Estimated magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. One Job. Completion time is 270 calendar days from date of award. This proposed procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns, the size of which is $17.0 million. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which will be con- sidered.
