Hopkins The work includes demolition and disposal of approximately 230 feet of existing timber pier, seven timber dolphins, and approximately 150 feet of chain link fence and supporting timber poles; demolition and disposal of concrete slabs, asphalt paving, timber curbs and underground pipe; excavation, removal of rubble rip rap and river dredging and disposal; reinforcing 60 feet of existing concrete sheet pile bulkhead with drilled pretensioned soil anchors; construction of approximately 60 feet bulkhead extension; construction of one approximatley 230 feet finger pier with concrete piles, slabs and pile caps; construction of two approximately 90-feet long by 8-feet wide boat lift piers consisting of concrete slabs, pile caps, and piles. Construction also includes: floating dock, concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, bollards, fenders, ladders, curbs, piping, electrical, and all miscellaneous and related work. Construction of two boat lift piers and approximately one-half of the floating dock shall be a separately priced option to be exercised at the option of the Government. Estimated cost range: $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 18 February 1999. A limited number of plans and specifications will be available on a first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. There is no charge for the first set of plans and specs (additional sets are $25.00 each); HOWEVER, EACH FIRM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING BID DATA. LOCAL FIRMS MAY PICK UP PACKAGES AT THE ISSUING OFFICE.
