Performance is at the Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, California. This IDIQ contract acquires construction projects such as renovation and repair work (including demolition), hazardous material abatement and site improvements. It is anticipated that three contracts will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The total fee for the contract shall not exceed $3,000,000 in one year and no single task order will exceed $100,000. Projects to be accomplished under this contract will usually be small to medium in size with costs ranging from $2,000 to $100,000. The firms selected are guaranteed a minimum of $25,000 each. Individual firm fixed price task orders for work to be performed will be awarded to one of the three contracts based on the lowest price/technically acceptable offer. Each contract will be for a period of one year with four Government option years for the same basic services. Each option year is limited to the same fee restrictions as the base year. Expected start dates are 15 April 1999.
