Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division seeks sources for Wear Liners used in mitigating bore erosion in large caliber guns. The Wear Liner is made up of a Liner Body assembly and a Tie/Glue Bond assembly. The Liner Body assembly consists of a 16" x 16" piece of spun viscous Rayon cloth impregnated with resin and covered with 12.8 oz. (nominal) of resin spread in a uniform coating, with conductive plastic film sewn to the cloth to cover the resin. The Tie/Glue Bond assembly consists of acrylic Rayon cloth strapping sewn together, with a glue band sewn onto the strapping. The two assemblies are sewn together to form the complete Wear Liner. Interested sources that can meet the requirements and desire to be considered, need to respond within 30 calendar days with their capabilities.
