36 -- SPECIAL INDUSTRY MACHINERY POC Julie Mackley (978) 318-8413, FAX (978) 318-8207 The New England District, Corps of Engineers, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Stetco Products, 27 Washington Street, Westborough, Massachusetts 01581, for the purchase and installation of One Stetco Model 920T/13 Catch Basin and Sewer Cleaner at West Hill Dam, Uxbridge, Massachusetts. The equipment to be furnished and installed is to be designed to conform to the existing structure and to perform site specific functions. The mounting platform of the Model 920T/13 is to be re-designed to lessen weight impact on the raking platform deck. Specifications include: 7'0" retracted boom length, 2-piece boom extends and retracts hydraulically from 7'0" to 13'0", 2,200 lbs.-winch single line lifting capacity, 2,850 lbs.-boom lifting capacity at 10', 5,700 lbs.-boom lifting capacity at 5'. Interested parties having the capability to furnish the above described product should submit their product and price information which shall be considered by the agency. All responses must contain sufficient technical and pricing information to enable evaluation of the capability of the product to meet the requirements of the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document exists and no award will be made on the basis of any response to this advertisement. Interested parties may respond in writing to New England District, Corps of Engineers, Attn: Purchase Branch, 696 Virginia Road, Concord, MA 01742-275l. All responses from responsible sources which are received within 15 days of the date of the publication of this synopsis will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation will be issued no additional synopsis will be published.
