The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Tactical Training Ranges Support Division, has a requirement for a Microwave Data Link system and two guyed towers. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 as a competitive, small business set-aside acquisition. The resultant award shall be a firm fixed price contract. The applicable SIC is 3441 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The contractor shall complete site civil work, extend and install A/C power service, provide and install backup generator system, manufacture a 520' and a 410' guyed towers, provide and install tower lighting system, install site grounding system, and install GFE shelter, microwave radio, and multiplexing equipment, microwave dishes and waveguides. The towers shall be installed at Cherry Point, NC and Swan Quarter, NC. A microwave path shall then be established between these two sites and existing repeater sites at Elizabeth City, NC and Merrimon, NC. The requirement also includes options within the same scope of effort. The delivery, inspection, and acceptance of the system will occur on location in North Carolina.
